## How to Participate in the GVNR Public Sale with Republic

### Step 1 | Sign up to the GVNR Whitelist to Secure Participation through Early Access (Optional)

This first step is optional, we thoroughly recommend you sign up to the GVNR Whitelist if you want to secure participation in the GVNR Public Sale on Republic. Their are no obligations, simply early access and a selection of buy in options.

* Submit your email to the GVNR Public Sale Whitelist

### Step 2 | Read the GVNR Disclosure on Republic

This step is paramount, do your own research and fully understand what the GVNR Public Sale entails by reading the [<mark style="color:orange;">GVNR Disclosure on the Republic Site</mark>](https://republic.com/gvnr-disclosure).

### Step 3 | Create an Account with Republic

This process is incredibly simple:

* Head over to the Republic website - [<mark style="color:orange;">https://republic.com/register</mark>](https://republic.com/register)
* Choose from one of the 4 sign up options - ensure you are using the same email you submitted to the GVNR Whitelist if you want to Double your OG Airdrop:&#x20;
  * Email
  * Apple
  * Facebook
  * Twitter
* Input your First name, Last name, Email and Password
* Click 'Sign up'

### Step 4 | Complete Your Republic Account

To complete your Republic Account Sign Up you will need to complete the following actions, most of which are optional.

* REQUIRED: You must confirm your email account to continue using Republic.
  * Check your email for confirmation instructions, it's as simple as clicking a link
  * Check your junk folder if you cannot find the email
* OPTIONAL: Add information [<mark style="color:orange;">About you</mark>](https://republic.com/about_you) and input your [<mark style="color:orange;">Investment Intrests</mark>](https://republic.com/my_interests) - to get personalised suggestions.

### Step 5 | Submit Republic KYC

After creating a Republic account, you must complete a KYC process with Republic to verify your identity and comply with regulations before participating in the GVNR Public Sale.&#x20;

It's the second step in their simple [<mark style="color:orange;">Registration Guide</mark>](https://republic.com/registration-guide),  it involves providing personal information and failure to complete it may result in a delayed or cancelled participation.

#### 1 | Visit the Personal Information page

* Head over to the Republic Information page in your profile

#### 2 | Click 'Verify Identity'

* Scroll down and click on the button - 'Verify Identity'

#### 3 | Scan QR code from Mobile Device

* A QR Code will now pop up on the screen
* Scan the code with your mobile device

#### 4 | Select your Identification Document

You will need an approved form of identification which can include (location dependent)

* Drivers License
* Government ID Card
* Passport
* Residency Permit Card

#### 5| Scan your Identity Document

You will now need to take a photo of your ID

* Place your ID on a flat surface
* Check lighting, avoid reflections, hand shake and out of focus images
* Click 'Capture Photo' to proceed

#### 6 | Complete a Selfie Check

You will now need to complete a selfie, which will be cross checked with your personal identification.

* Click 'Allow Camera Access'
* Look at the camera and follow the on screen prompts

#### 7 | Return to Republic to Confirm Verification

Once you've completed the KYC steps on your phone, head back to the [<mark style="color:orange;">Personal Information</mark>](https://republic.com/kyc-guide) page in your Republic Profile Settings.

* Click the button 'Confirm Verification'

It can now take up to 48 hours to complete verification for KYC.

### Step 6 | Create/Import Your Wallet

Once you're verified on Republic, its now time to add a wallet.&#x20;

You can find this section in your Republic US Account, simply head to the top right and click on your profile picture. A drop down list will appear, click on the ‘My Wallet’ option.

Here, you have two options

2. Import your own personal wallet&#x20;

Going through this process requires a number of steps we will breakdown for you:

### Option 1 | Create Wallet

#### 1 | Create a New Wallet

On the wallet creation page, chooses 'Create New Wallet - clicking on the main blue button

#### 2 | Enable Multi-Factor Authentication

You will need to enable multi-factor authentication, you can choose which you use, but will need to follow these steps to enable it.

* Open the Authenticator of your choice
* Scan the QR code (or manually enter the code)

Click ‘Next - Enter code’

#### 3 | Enter Code

* You will then  be required to enter the code you see on your authenticator (which will change every few second)
* Enter your code and click ‘Next - Import existing wallet’ before the code resets\
  Your Authenticator is now set, you will need this to access your account in future (KEEP THIS SAFE)

4 | Set a Password for your Device

You will need to set a password for your Republic wallet, this password is to be separate from your Account Password.&#x20;

This password is device linked and will be used on the device you have set it up on ONLY, this password will be used for all wallet transactions on Republic.

Once you have created a suitable password click ‘Next - Save seed phrase’

#### 5 | Save Seed Phrase

You will now see a 24 word seed phrase.

* Ensure no one is present to see your phrase
* Save your phrase in a safe and secure space
* DOUBLE CHECK - this is your responsibility to make sure this is correct, without it you will have no access to your wallet
* Click 'Next - Verify seed phrase' to complete setup.

#### 6 | Verify Seed Phrase

Before you can progress you will need to read and verify your understanding of Republic's setup and policy surrounding your seed phrase.

Now you must verify your seed phrase:

* Choose the correct seed phrase options
* Click 'Finish up' to confirm your wallet creation and verification of seed phrase.

7 | Open Wallet

That's it, you've created your Republic Wallet, it's time to open it.

### Option 2 | Import a Wallet

#### 1 | Choose Import Wallet option

On the wallet creation page, click 'Import existing wallet' - underneath the main blue button

#### 2 | Add Multi-factor Authentication

#### 3 | Importing your Existing Wallet

You will now be presented with a box to input your existing wallets seed phrase, ensure:

* You do this in a SAFE and PRIVATE location so no one else can see your seed phrase
* This is the wallet you want to use for your public sale purchase&#x20;
* This is entered in the correct order separated by spaces

Once entered, click ‘Next- Create password’

#### 4 | Create a Password

On this page you will need to set a password for your imported wallet, this password is to be separate from your Account Password.&#x20;

This password is device linked and will be used on the device you have set it up on ONLY, this password will be used for all wallet transactions on Republic.

Once you have created a suitable password click ‘Next - Save seed phrase’

#### 5 | Open your Wallet

You should then see this screen above, this means your existing wallet is now imported and ready to use with Republic.

Click ‘Open wallet’

### Step 7 | Fund your Purchase

We've included as many payment channels as possible to fund your purchase via Republic

* Direct payment Ethereum USDC and USDT
* ZeroHash (Multi Crypto)
* Stripe

### Step 8 | Commit to a Minimum Spend

To participate in the $GVNR Public Sale, there is a minimum spend amount. It will be available on the Republic Deal page once the sale is live.
