# How To Stake GVNR

Welcome to your **How to guide on Staking GVNR** — a step-by-step walkthrough for staking and managing your $GVNR in the $GVNR Keep.&#x20;

The [<mark style="color:orange;">$GVNR Keep</mark> ](https://gvnr.xyz/gvnrs/keep)is where holders can stake their $GVNR to earn rewards, build GVNR Points, and actively support the network’s growth. This guide covers everything from creating your first stake to tracking your earnings.

### **Step 1 | Connect your Wallet**

As always, the first step is to connect your Controller Wallet.

* Click green ‘<mark style="color:orange;">CONNECT WALLET</mark>’ button in the main navigation
* Connect your chosen wallet via the Metmask or Wallet Connect options

### **Step 2 | Head over to the $GVNR Keep**

To begin the process of staking your $GVNR, head over to the $GVNR Keep

* Click on the button ‘<mark style="color:orange;">GET STARTED</mark>’

### **Step 3 | Get to grips with the $GVNR Keep Dashboard**

You will now enter the $GVNR Keep Dashboard, your command centre for managing and growing your $GVNR Portfolio.&#x20;

From here, you can perform key actions all in one place:

* Stake $GVNR
* Buy $GVNR
* Deposit $GVNR
* Withdraw $GVNR

You will be able to view your staked positions and take action, all from a single, intuitive interface. Along with a clear overview of your GVNR Portfolio, including total $GVNR held, total staked $GVNR, total earned $GVNR and your GVNR Points.

### **Step 4 | Understand your Staking Options**

Once familiar with the dashboard, it’s time to stake your $GVNR.

* Hit the green ‘<mark style="color:orange;">STAKE</mark>’ button

At this point, if you don’t have any $GVNR in your Controller Wallet or GVNR Portfolio, you will be giving two options:

1. Buy $GVNR
2. Deposit $GVNR into your Portfolio

If you do have $GVNR, you now have the option of 6 staking positions. You can have up to 6 staking positions active at any one time. These positions are split into two groups, dependent on whether you are staking $GVNR from your Controller Wallet or GVNR Portfolio:

#### **Positions for Staking $GVNR from your GVNR Portfolio**

* 3 Month Lock - you’ll earn 5% APY and x3 on your GVNR Points
* 6 Month Lock - you’ll earn 10% APY and x6 on your GVNR Points
* 12 Month Lock - you’ll earn 15% APY and x12 on your GVNR Points

#### Positions for Staking $GVNR from your Controller Wallet

* 3 Month Lock - you’ll earn 5% APY
* 6 Month Lock - you’ll earn 10% APY
* 12 Month Lock - you’ll earn 15% APY

### **Step 5 | Create a New Staking Position**

To create a new staking position:

From the drop down, select from

* GVNR Portfolio
* Controller Wallet

Now, input the amount of $GVNR you wish to Stake, you can:

* Input the amount manually
* Allocate an amount choosing from 25%, 50%, 75% or Max

Having chosen your wallet, and input the amount of $GVNR you wish to allocate, each staking position will be updated with the rewards you will earn.

* Click on your chosen Staking Position

### **Step 6 | Complete your Staking Position**

A window will now pop-up giving you a detailed breakdown of your Staking Position with all key pieces of information for a final check.&#x20;

Once you have reviewed your staking position:

* Click '<mark style="color:orange;">STAKE</mark>'
* Follow the signing prompts on your Controller Wallet and pay the associated gas fees in order to complete the process.

Once completed, you will see a Staking Confirmation.

### Step 7 | View your Staking Position in the $GVNR Keep

Here you will be able to view all your active staked $GVNR positions.
