Welcome to the GVNR troubleshooting guide, designed to help you overcome common issues when connecting your wallet, creating your GVNR Portfolio, or making purchases via JUSTPAY.

These are the most common issues along with recommended solutions:

Multiple Wallet Extensions

Multiple wallet extensions installed on your browser can trigger connection issues as they compete with each other to interact with the GVNR web application. This creates conflicts when the wrong wallet is selected, or the signing process is interrupted due to multiple extensions trying to respond to the same request simultaneously.

We recommend the following options to overcome the issue:

• Choose one primary wallet: We recommend you select one wallet to connect to the GVNR platform and remove all other wallet extensions to avoid conflicts. You can always choose to reinstall them at a later date.

• Use different browsers: As straightforward as it sounds, if you have multiple wallets, you can simply install a single wallet extension on each different browser. Browsers we recommend:

  • Chrome

  • Firefox

  • Edge

  • Brave

• Use browser profiles: The simplest way to manage multiple wallet extensions is to use browser profiles. Platforms like Chrome let you create multiple profiles, which then allow you to add a single wallet extension to each browser profile.

Using a VPN

While VPNs are great for improving security and privacy, they can trigger issues with your wallet provider, disrupting your connection to GVNR.

For certain wallet providers, a VPN can sometimes trigger fraud alerts and cause issues with account verification. VPN IP addresses appear anomalous and don’t match your regular location, which can flag your account for security reviews, block interactions, or even lock you out temporarily.

Disable VPN:

For a seamless experience with GVNR, we recommend best practice that you connect to the platform without a VPN active.

MetaMask - Suspicious Activity Flagged

When minting an NFT via JUSPAY, users of MetaMask have encountered a warning of 'Suspicious Activity' in the purchasing phase.

This is a very common occurrence for new applications interacting with MetaMask. The GVNR team is currently working with MetaMask to remove these, and have already verified with Blockaid to remove other errors.

Confirm and Proceed

You are safe to acknowlede the alert, click confirm, and proceed in completing your purchase on the JUSTPAY platform.

Connected Chain Not Added to Wallet

This is a common issue for users creating their GVNR Portfolio.

After connecting your wallet - via MetaMask or WalletConnect - you will need to select your Governance Chain. If you don't have a supported Chain added to your wallet, you will be unable to proceed in creating your GVNR Portfolio.

Add Supported Chain(s)

GVNR currently support the following chains - Ethereum Polygon, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Avalanche (as of 7 Feb, 2025)

Ensure you add one, or all of the above chains, to your chosen wallet.
